Mynydd Troed - Route Recommendation

The second route in a series on the Brecon Beacons, this time one focused on two lesser known peaks that overlook Llyn Syfaddan lake and Llangorse village.
The route starts at Lllangorse Multi Activity Center, where there's some limiting parking. There is also space in Llangorse village, or plenty of free parking at Llyn Syfaddan lake if you fancy extending the route (I'd recommend this, the lake is lovely)
From the Center we start with a long steep climb up to Mynydd Llangorse, a 506m peak which looks out across the lower lands, lake and over towards Brecon itself.
The climb is long but manageable, with no particularly treacherous sections.
At the peak we follow a flat table top north and a granted a view of the much more daunting second peak, Mynydd Troed.
Down the gap between the peaks is nice and gradual, with views to the east of a long valley between the two hillsides, and the lake to the west.
The peak itself is a hairy climb. Steps have been cut into the side but definitely take it slow and steady, maybe don't look back too many times, and you'll get there in no time.
On a clear day the views from the top are well worth the climb.
Once finished, the descent the other side is no less hairy, but you do gets long uninterrupted views of Welsh farmland to look at as you watch your footing.
At the bottom is a long steady stretch along country lanes back towards Llangorse village where you can see the peaks from a different angle.
Cutting back south-east from the lanes we progress over some old footpaths through fields and the Eligro Nature Reserve. They aren't the best maintained, however hands down beat the alternative of running on an busy road with no verge.
Once out of the nature reserve, it's a short stretch of lanes then back to the car park.
